Father John Misty, I Love You Honeybear

Father John Misty's new album isn't extremely different from his first album although it does involved slightly more of an electronic element to the mix. I don't think this similarity to his last record is a bad thing however, it's not like there's anyone else doing what he's doing. The 33 year old Washington D.C. native recently said in an interview that for the first time he's satisfied in the music he's making. Check out his tour dates here. 

New Passion Pit Single, "Let's Go, (Until We Can't)"

Passion Pit's newest single combines all of the things we love about electronic pop while bringing us back to the era of emo vocals that we loved so much in high school. Fans and newcomers alike will find something to love about this song. It reminds me of the sounds of Washington D.C. Indie band, Native Spirit. Just in time for summer parties and school being out.
